Service Description

Learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver. It's challenging, yet very rewarding. The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include: - Self-rescue - Recognizing and managing stress in other divers - Emergency management and equipment - Rescuing panicked divers - Rescuing unresponsive divers Pre-requisites: You must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent and must be in good physical condition for diving. A current Dive Medical or copy thereof must be provided. Proof of at least 20 logged dives is required. You also need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. You can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course. Course cost includes all tuition, full gear hire, personal copy of the Rescue Manual, training dives, and certification fee. First Aid Course - K 500

Cancellation Policy

Reservation systems ensure that you have your spot reserved and guaranteed. To make this possible once you have made the booking we do not sell these spaces to anybody else (your seats are held for you). Please, understand that you may be charged a cancellation fee. - Cancellations received with 72 hours or more before the departure of the activity booked will NOT incur in a cancellation fee. - Cancellations received between 48 and 72 hours before the departure of the activity booked will incur in a cancellation fee of 50 % of full activity booked cost. - Cancellations received with 24 hours before the departure of the activity booked will incur in a cancellation fee of 75 % of full activity booked cost. - Cancellations received the same day to the departure of the activity booked or make a no-show (failure to arrive) will incur in a cancellation fee of 100 % of full activity booked cost, and refunds will not be given for any part of a package or activity. Refund Payments: Cash in PGK. If the refund implies any fee or charge, the total amount to refund will be the price you paid minus the fee or that charge.
