OUR CREW

JOHN MILLER

Originally from Australia, John has lived in  PNG for over 50 years and has been diving for 30 years.

As a young man, he was fascinated by the marine environment always sailing, boating, snorkeling and engaging in other water sports activities, a passion that easily converted to taking over the Port Moresby dive shop when the opportunity arose about 20 years ago. John has been an instructor since 1995  and has since certified more than 1000 divers. John knows the dive sites around Port Moresby on an intimate basis.

KEIKO NAKAURA

From Tokyo, Japan, Keiko came to Port Moresby 12 years ago. Qualified as an instructor while living in Cairns, she made several visits to Papua New Guinea to dive the uncrowded and prolific reefs before moving here permanently. She is a specialist in fish identification and with a keen eye for small animals.

THOMAS REI

A local from Tubuserea, Thomas is one of the few PNG national instructors working in the industry. He has been an instructor for over ten years. He also works as a boat captain and knows the local dive sites quite well.  He has considerable experience in leading divers of all levels and has as well as knowing where to look for the interesting wildlife.

RAGA GINI

Originally he was working as a dive master with the Loloata Island Resort. He gained considerable experience as a "spotter" for demanding photographers in search of unique photo opportunities to be seen here. If you want to see a Pygmy Seahorse, Leafy Scorpionfish or the Ghost Pipefish, Raga is your man.
